Inspiration for Biodiversity projects include : Planting native plants as a reflection of the existing flora found in the area, protecting the future seed bank as it emerges after no more grazing, fostering regionally rare plant species, leaving a legacy for the future, and creating spaces to enjoy .
It is envisaged that this Okari Environs project collection and data base of locally observed plants will help in sharing the knowledge about local plant species, and raise awareness for potential growth in local and district plant species. As the year-round plant food increases and suitable habitats created, other flora and fauna will increase, especially more.bird life and naturally emerging seedlings. less ↑
