Charlesworth Wetland Reserve Wetland Birds

This project is for wetland bird monitoring in Charlesworth Wetland Reserve. Wetland birds have been recorded at Charlesworth Reserve over many years by Andrew Crossland; Christchurch City Council Ranger and Ornithologist

A full census of all individuals of target species within the entire tidal basin areas and salt marsh are recorded. Individuals are counted by observing from points around the perimeter that allow a complete view of the site. Wetland birds only were counted with Passerine species ignored.
