From April 27 - 30, over 70 cities around the world are competing to see who can document the most diversity in the natural world using the iNaturalist app.As part of the 2018 City Nature Challenge, this project captures observations from Mt. Tamalpais Watershed Lands at Lake Lagunitas.

Join us at Lake Lagunitas on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for guided excursions, iNaturalist "how-to's" and independent identification sessions.You may join us for the entire event or show up at any point.

Directions to Lake Lagunitas. From Fairfax drive up Fairfax-Bolinas Rd. and pass Deer Park Villa on your left. Turn left onto Sky Oaks Rd. if you reach the Meadow Club golf course you have gone too far. Once on Sky Oaks Rd. pass the ranger station and drive to the end of the paved road.

Make sure to sign in at the Lake Lagunitas parking lot to receive a free parking pass for participating in the event.
