Day 4 - Great job, NYC! Get those observations loaded!

Great job, New York, getting in more observations and species than we had by the end last year! I expect a few more observations to trickle in during the ID phase. I know I have at least 50 or so still to upload from my good camera. If you also have observations living on your phones or cameras, you have until 5/6 at 9am to upload them. That's when our final results are pulled to compare to the other cities. Of course, the sooner you get them in, the more likely they'll be IDed and increase our species numbers! Get them in as soon as you can!

Some Observations aren't showing up in the Projects. Example:

I know iNat is having trouble keeping up with the volume. I'm hoping they'll start catching up, and this will fix itself.

I am sure the servers will catch up with all the labelling, etc., before the end of the ID-ing period. I have 502 observations from Monday that do not show the City Nature Challenge project tags on them, but I am pretty sure they are already counted towards my total, and the total for NYC.

Hey Susan and Chris. I just left this comment in the previous day's post, but it is taking a while for the servers to catch up with tagging the individual observation pages. I've been checking this by going to the project's observation list and searching for the exact observation you're talking about. If it's in that list, then it's being counted towards our totals. If you see one that should be in that list that isn't, then that is a problem. Let me know!
