Our hope is that this project will encourage you to explore the incredible diversity of life on Cove Mountain, the gateway to conservation efforts along the Kittatinny Ridge. Any observations of plants and animals, including non-native invasive species, that you add to iNaturalist will be available for scientific study and will support the conservation efforts of The Nature Conservancy in Pennsylvania. We're particularly interested in sightings on all our preserves as these data can help us to track changes in the distribution and relative abundance of species over time, as well as phenology (timing of biological events), and help us with the long-term management of our lands across Pennsylvania and beyond. less ↑
