during the summer it can be hard to tell male ducks from females or even other species of ducks. this happens during the none-breeding and often called eclipse plumage. the reason for the change is because the ducks are molting they lose a lot of there feathers and then they grow back for the breeding season. these ducks are often hard to identify so this project will make it easier for identifying eclipse/molting ducks. less ↑
