This month’s challenge is to take pictures of lichens! Lichen are amazing symbiotic organisms, formed when a fungus partners with an algae, and they are everywhere - you just have to look closely. Check on trees, rocks, in the soil, you might even find lichens on the side of a building!
Our most recent challenge was to take pictures of species that migrate or go through seasonal transitions. Here are some highlights!
Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) @kbeza31979
Sachem (Atalopedes campestris) @zenbrrdrr
Autumn Meadowhawk (Sympetrum vicinum) @kbeza31979
Goose Neck Moss Genus (Rhytidiadelphus) @karorem
