Amalgamating observations of Erythranthe Sect. Simiolus in the tidal marshes of the Pacific Northwest to document how other species' morphology is affected when growing in the muddy tidal habitat of the rare Erythranthe scouleri (Scouler's Monkeyflower).
Project is informal/broad, also including some obs. of semi-aquatic emergent plants in the lower reaches of rivers. This project is primarily to gain a better understanding of E. scouleri and the variation in basal stem leaf morphology of E. guttata when growing in the muddy, heavily tidal-affected marsh habitat typical of E. scouleri. Special focus on the Columbia and Fraser Deltas.
