Everyone Counts!

This is an iNaturalist project where participants can enter data for the Everyone Counts 3 meter x 3 meter plot survey!

Everyone Counts is a course, a community-building activity, and a community science project presented in an on-line format to promote outdoor learning and centering. Through 12 weekly sessions, participants learn nature observation skills, mindfulness, and concepts of biodiversity science through multiple ways of knowing.

Activities emphasize building place-based firsthand awareness of nature. Sessions build skills towards completing a community science biodiversity survey and data from that survey can be uploaded here.

In October 2020 we are launching a pilot program of Everyone Counts. Soon we will post the link to the course (free and open to all) in this description.

Our intention is that after this pilot program we will launch this effort more widely throughout the Salish Sea and beyond.
