This project is for collecting observations of feral, waif, or stray domestic animals and plants, which frequently get mistakenly marked as "captive." Examples would be dogs, cats, chickens, peafowl, horses, and so on.
"Feral" includes solitary abandoned or escaped domesticated individuals, as well as established breeding populations. Basically anything that is running around loose and surviving without being owned by someone.
"Waif" is defined as "an unusual species found in the wild that is alien and either a) is unsuccessful at reproduction without human intervention, or b) only persists a few generations and disappears. Such a plant never gets "naturalized" in the wild."
In short, if you have an observation you're frustrated that people keep marking as captive, add it here, and maybe you can get some counter-votes on the captivity.
