Flower-visiting Birds

This project is a collection of observations of birds visiting flowers to consume nectar. Many bird species (not just hummingbirds) drink flower nectar and often act as pollinators transporting pollen on their feathers. The co-evolution of birds and the flowers that they visit is highly specialized. This project will document instances of birds visiting flowers to understand their ecological relationships. less ↑
