This project is to document life-forms found in a garden compost heap started on 12.4.20 in Gaborone, Botswana. made up of these rotting dead plants.

The heap was only about 70 cm high at the star, kept very moist and in the shade.

Samples of rotting vegetation were put in a bucket of water and the insects which crawled or swam up to the surface were photographed. less ↑
