Grassland Ambassadors

This project is for documenting invasive plants in the grasslands of the Upper Valley in Vermont and New Hampshire. Non-native plant species can spread aggressively, negatively affecting the quality of both hayfields and bird habitat.

"Grassland ambassadors" track the birds that nest in hayfields and invasives that plague the fields, and often use management practices in their own fields to benefit nesting grassland birds. less ↑
