Thanks a bunch!

Thank you everyone for joining us yesterday for our very first Half-Pint biodiversity assessment! After looking through comments and putting the data in our spreadsheet, we found hat the most abundant plant was rosemary, followed by heavenly bamboo (an invasive). There were a total of 162 specimens counted and a total of 33 species types. We hope that you'll continue to use iNat as a learning tool and that we'll see you again to help us restore our prairie!

The University of Texas at Austin Half-Pint Urban Prairie is a Green-Fund funded, student-led initiative to put a small section of endangered blackland prairie on UT campus. This iNaturalist project will be used to assess the effectiveness of restoring the biodiversity of the prairie location.
