This project is to link together hermit crabs with the shells they wear! I'd assume that certain hermit crabs prefer certain species of shells, so this project is here to investigate that!

There are three optional (but highly recommended) observation fields - "Associated observation", "Hermit Crab Shell", and "Guest in the shell" - which should make it easier to search for anything you'd like to find out!
If the observation is for the crab, then the Shell field should be filled out, and if the observation is for the shell, than the Guest field should be filled out.
The associated observation would be used if there is an observation for both the crab and its shell, in which it should link to the corresponding observation.

If you have an observation of a hermit crab, but not one of it's shell, it's easy to make one of it's shell if you'd like! Just click the drop-down next to the "Edit" button in the top right corner of the screen and choose "Duplicate". Then make sure to mention that the observation is for the shell, not the crab!
