It started when I observed, that many ladybugs congegated on one particular type of plant in the gardens of the Biology department of Copenhagen University, Gothåbsvej,Frederiksberg, Denmark. Looking closer, I identified several different species on these plants. Then I discovered that they were inter breeding and wanted to observe what the outcome would be. I have followed these ladybugs from mating, egg laying, larve stadiums, pupas and to an array of more or less strangely marked individuals that have shown up as time passed.
