About the Cover

The project's cover image features a male and female Baltimore Oriole, and was cropped from a beautiful illustration by John James Audubon. The full print and many others can be found in Audubon's "The Birds of America", which can be viewed in its entirety at the National Audubon Society's website (www.audubon.org/birds-of-america/).
