Maine Audubon's Gilsland Farm

Located just a few minutes north of Maine's most populous city lies is the 65-acre Gilsland Farm Audubon Center. This quiet sanctuary has three meadows, a fresh water pond, salt marshes, and borders the Presumpscot River estuary. With such a variety of habitats, we could only wonder what the total diversity of flora and fauna is like, until starting this project.

By collecting the results of our public walks and programs, as well as encouraging visiting observers to submit their sightings, we hope to answer the question: How many species occur at Gilsland Farm? less ↑
