Check first locality reference: Inger et al. 1999 doesn't appear to say anything about Quang Nam Prov.

This species is associated with rocky streams and herbaceous riparian vegetation in undisturbed (J. Rowley, unpubl. data) - and to a lesser extent disturbed (Bain et al. 2007) - montane primary forest. A male has been observed calling from vegetation 1 m above the ground adjacent to a cascading stream (Bain et al. 2007).
It is known from montane forest, and breeding takes place in streams (ref?)Low gradient, rock substrate, wide, with pools - High gradient, narrow, rock-based stream, waterfalls, lose rocks and debris - Waterfall base, steep, herbaceous, sheer rock. 3 waterfalls - Medium gradient, narrow, rock-based stream, waterfalls. boulders (Jodi unpublished). Calling from atop shrub 1m above groundc cascading rocky stream disturbed primary forest (Bain, R. H., T. Q. Nguyen, and K. V. Doan. 2007. New herpetofaunal records from Vietnam. Herpetological Review 38: 107–117)
There are very few data available on the size and trends of this species, however it is known from 16 adult type specimens at the type locality (Inger et al. 1999) as well as five (J. Rowley, unpubl. data), one (Bain et al. 2007), and an unspecified number of individuals (Bain and Nguyen 2002) from the species' other known localities.
The Kon Tum plateau is suffering substantial forest loss from agriculture and clear-cutting, with much resultant stream degradation. (Where is this from? Need to consult map)
Herpetological surveys are required to determine whether or not this species is present in existing protected areas on the Kon Tum Plateau. Additional protected areas might need to be established in the Buen Luoi-Tram Lap-Kon Cha Ran area. Further survey work is needed to determine the current population status of the species.
Kon Cha Rang nature reserve??
Listed as Vulnerable, because its Extent of Occurrence is less than 20,000 km2 and its Area of Occupancy is less than 2,000 km2, its distribution is severely fragmented, and there is a continuing decline in the extent and quality of its forest habitat.
