You can help the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) better understand where endangered and threatened species occur on the landscape. The USFWS is in the process of refining the range maps of all Endangered Species Act (ESA) listed species in the United States. This project will use occurrence records from a variety of public data sources, including iNaturalist, to create these maps. The maps will be uploaded to the USFWS Environmental Conservation Online System (ECOS) database/website for public use. To help, please join this project and select to have your obscured observation coordinates visible to the project curators. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the project curators, and thank you for contributing to this important project.
