This project collates records of noteworthy species found during the Marine Hitchhikers project in the Onkaparinga Council's coastal area. the community project is managed by South Australian Conservation Research Divers (SACReD), with support of a community grant in 2020-21 from the Coastal Protection Board.

This collection includes:
(i) species that may be native but are uncommonly recorded,
(ii) native species that may be out of the currently known geographic range; and/or

(iii) species whose taxonomic identity has been debated, and samples are required to determine species.
