Native Insect Discovery

The mission of MANTIZ is to promote awareness of the beauty and diversity of insects and how they benefit humans, with an emphasis on the local species of the Mid-Atlantic. MANTIZ is a Zoo that empowers and inspires adults and young scientists in urban, suburban, and underserved communities across the region by providing fun educational opportunities through research and promotion of a balanced and healthy local ecosystem.
