About

Many bird species migrate under the cover of darkness. As they fly overhead, birds use “nocturnal flight calls” (NFCs) to presumably maintain flock spacing and/or communicate with one another. This project is a collection of flight calls from nocturnal migrating birds. Species include sparrows, warblers, thrushes, shorebirds and others.
