This iNaturalist "project" was set up for botanists to share phenology observations of rare plants in the North Coast region of California, USA. Botanists from this region have identified the need for a way to share up-to-date information on the bloom timing of rare plants. The proper identification of many rare species require a certain phase within its reproductive cycle. Given that bloom phenology can vary greatly from year to year, this information is valuable for determining the appropriate timing of botanical surveys. less ↑
