The purpose is to document all native flora and fauna in wild and restored habitats in the Ojai Valley.

Observations of all native biodiversity in the Ojai Valley. Including the areas of Foster Park, Casitas Springs, Lake Casitas, Mira Monte, Meiners Oaks, Matilija Canyon, Wheeler Canyon, Sulphur Mountain, Black Mountain, Nordhoff Peak, all Ojai Valley Land Conservancy properties, city of Ojai, East End, Dennison Grade, Upper Ojai Valley, Ojai-Santa Paula Road to Thomas Aquinas College.
