Abstract.– The region of Constantine is part of the area of Numidia which covers an area of approximately 10,000 km2, known for its remarkable flora richness and significant ecological diversity. With Guelma and Souk-Ahras, all three regions have a distinctly continental character. This work allowed us to collect old and new data and update information about Ophrys battandieri in Algeria and in the Constantine region. Thanks to a series of prospecting carried out by the members of the EcoCirta association during the years 2020 and 2021 which resulted in the discovery of new spots of this rare and interesting species of orchids of Algeria.
