Pacific Crest Trail

The purpose of this project is to track the long-term effects of climate change and other ecosystem changes on the flora and fauna found along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) and the surrounding mountain ranges (Peninsular Ranges, Transverse Ranges, Sierra Nevada, Klamath Mountains, and Cascades). Data submitted to this project will constitute part of a database that will be used by biologists to study the long-term health of ecosystems found along the PCT. All taxa are welcome, however we encourage users to focus on those groups that they are most familiar or interested in. less ↑
