My name is JoAnna and I am a naturalist. I have formed Project Reef Restoration to help rebuild the coral reefs as well as to spur development of new reef systems in order provide habitats to our marine life. Many of the reef systems in the Gulf of Mexico were damaged durin the oil spill and the full extent of the damages is still unknown. I collect materials such as stone, fencing,etc. to construct reef bases to be populated. Knowing the activities of the marine life will help me in choosing placement of reef bases and placement for extensions on existing reef systems.
