Nowadays, many insects are not enough documented.
That is even worse for their larvae/nymphs stage !
The goal of this project is to gather observations of larvae/nymphs that have been :
- reared (imago laying eggs --> eggs --> larvae/nymphs)
- or bred (from egg or larva/nymph to imago).
This will help to use a filter on inaturalist so we can keep "sure" identifications, as sometimes larva/nymph stage is not enough and we need the imago to go further. We also could find unique characteristics at those stages by comparing pictures.
Conditions :
- Observations of the larva/nymph, containing a link to the observation of the mother / the bred imago (= adult)
- Observations with "all-in-one" life stages (pictures of all stages in same observations) are also accepted, althought it seems clearer to split each life stage in a different observation
Here the link to see observations from this project with life stage annotation....
Enjoy !
