Sagehen Basin Invasive Plant Management

Sagehen basin has a few invasive weeds. This project maps occurrences that we know about, so that we can revisit the sites for abatement.

Species of concern include:
~Yellow Salsify (Tragopogon dubius);
~Purple crown-vetch (Securigera varia);
~Great Valley gumweed (Grindelia camporum);
~Bull thistle (Cirsium vulgare);
~Waterweed (Elodea canadensis);
~Cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum).

Get in touch with iNaturalist Linda Morris if you would like to assist with weed observation and removal.
