Documenting regrowth in the Cedar wildfire scar.

Much of this summer was spent in the glorious Greenhorn Mountains along Forest Service Highway 90 from Greenhorn summit to Johnsondale we wandered the forest and recorded much beauty. Alas, on August 16, 2016 a deliberate off road vehicle burned almost every area that we surveyed.
The silver lining! iNaturalist has helped record what was there so when officials attempt to restore, we hope they will use iNaturalist to know what and where they should replant.
It will take time before government officials will allow anyone back on the land. We are looking forward to helping be part of the restoration.
