This species is found on Mt. Banahaw and Mt. San-Cristobal on Luzon Island, Philippines, between 700 and 1465 m a.s.l.
It is found in lowland and lower montane forests, both old-growth and regenerating. It has also been found in mixed forest-agricultural areas.
It is nocturnal and terrestrial, eating invertebrates and possibly seeds.
