This species is found on Mt. Banahaw and Mt. San Cristobal on Luzon Island, Philippines, from 1400 m a.s.l. to the peak at 2177 m a.s.l.
It is found in mossy forest. This species is nocturnal and terrestrial, consuming earthworms, other invertebrates, and likely seeds.
There are no threats to this species; current disturbances in its range are unlikely to impact it.
