Taxonomic notes: Section empty

This species is distributed in northern Vietnam from Tuyen Quang to Nghe An Provinces, at elevations between 200 to 300 m a.s.l. Its three known localities fall in national parks or in nature reserves.

It lives in the closed, deciduous lowland forests of limestone mountains.

Likely common in the proper habitats.

There are no threats to this species at this time.

The three known localities of this species fall inside the Na Hang Nature Reserve, the Pu Huong Nature Reserve, and the Tam Dao National Park.
