During these times where it may be difficult to see life as you are forced to stay within your homes due to COVID-19, this project may keep you busy. The idea of a "jarrarium" is simple; go to a nearby pond, coast, or other water source, fill up a glass jar about 3/4 of the way with water and whatever else gets sucked in there (plants, dirt, etc.), and then let it sit on a windowsill. Watch as microscopic organisms and plants that you've captured in the jar grow, are born, and die off. less ↑
