Stono Preserve Aquatic Parasite BioBlitz
About
We adopted and adapted the BioBlitz concept to survey aquatic parasites in an understudied wetland (Stono Preserve) and contribute to fill in some knowledge gaps in global parasite diversity. For nine days, we acquire baseline data on parasite fauna in three habitat types (fresh, brackish, and marine bodies of water) at Stono Preserve to allow future monitoring.
