Mushroom Season is Upon Us

It may not look it, but the Fall is upon us once more! As with every year, it's time for a good Ol' fashion mushroom hunt, you are most cordially invited to help out.

This coming November 11th the USFS is going to have a guest speaker at the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center just south of Yachats Oregon. Can you guess what their presentation will be on? That's right! Mushrooms!...and lichens.

In support of this guest speaker, we will be hosting a weekend of bioblitz's focusing on the mushroom species of the region. To learn more about the times and places, check out our flier linked below:
