Hello Y Street!

The Turbine Flats Pollinator Garden is a community effort established in an industrial area of Lincoln, NE. Every effort has been made to create an oasis for pollinators and people - the use of un-dyed mulch for pathways, open soil for soil-nesting bees, a pergola made of untreated wood that will soon have benches, and 650 carefully selected native pollinator plants and grasses that will provide forage throughout the warmer months. The garden is a long term investment in the surrounding community (both insect and human) and has been designed for visitors to enjoy nature, art and contemplation.
