West Rock Ridge Flora

West Rock Ridge State Park is one of the most botanically interesting areas in Connecticut. It is noteworthy for containing a high concentration of species that are rare in the state and for possessing several rare to uncommon assemblages of vegetation. Despite its botanical importance, no systematic inventory of the plants occurring within the park has been conducted. To help document the flora of the park, this project has been established to capture observations of the vascular plants occurring within or near the park's boundaries. less ↑
