An Australian in a 4 decade residency within the United States. I presently travel back and forth between Tinonee, New South Wales and Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Current research: Moth Diversity and Seasonality within the Lower Manning Valley, N.S.W., AUS.

A 35 yr career ornithologist, I retired from active field contracts with the USA Army (17 years) and USA wind turbine industry (7 years) ending 2013 to pursue a more personal research agenda.

When I taught entomology as a professor at Heidelberg College (Tiffin, OH) in the mid-90's my research interests involved Odonata and Trichoptera.

Freshwater dinoflagellate algae field surveys in Ohio during the 90's continue with cross-country forays in the US and Canada (the most recent Aug-Sep 2016).
