Informal Environment-based Educator and Master Gardener, working with a wonderful group of community volunteers to connect school communities with nature right on school grounds. We help PreK-12 school communities set up and manage small native plant habitats that provide both a mini-oasis for native critters and a transformative educational setting for learning across the curriculum and beyond.

Our program is 4-H Schoolyard Habitats Outreach, and we operate within the Coastal Plain of Virginia.
We encourage members of our local school communities to help build a robust database of flora and fauna found on or near school properties in York County and the City of Poquoson, Virginia.
