I'm an avid outdoorsman with many interests. I especially enjoy field herping, surfing, fishing, hiking, and camping.

I earned a BS in Plant Biology from UC Davis, as well as an MBA from San Diego State. In the past I worked as a professional horticulturist and manager, but now I stay home to take care of my two boys.
I volunteer with NAFHA and am currently serving as the CA Chapter Education Specialist.

Most of my herp records are entered into the HERP database at naherp.com, but I occasionally enter records into iNaturalist for non-native species. Hopefully HERP and iNaturalist will share data some day.
