I was brought up to appreciate the wonders of nature, including the smell of lemons, the sounds of thunder and lightning storms, the magic of leaves changing colors and falling and swirling down in the fall, the ripples that raindrops cause on still water, the brilliance of all that is natural and intrinsically mystical that is within our universe and beyond.
Now that my husband and I are retired we are excited to be able to go for walks with our dogs in nature every day. Living in the Pacific Northwest we have so much beauty to be grateful for.
We are not experts in any field, but we do have a desire to become as mindful as we can as we grow older together so this platform is a perfect way to share some of the treasures we come across and to explore other’s treasures too. How joyous to know so many people are interested in the magic of the world around, above, and under them.
Our motto is "Sunshine and a cool breeze...heaven." And of course don't forget the fragrance of evergreen needles baking in the sun.
