I work as a tour guide at Bull Shoals Caverns in the town of Bull Shoals Arkansas. I rarely see these particular salamanders, but this year I've already seen them twice in one of the pools at the back of the cave. I took these particular pictures last year. Sorry that the photos are so blurry. I was using my camera phone and it didn't focus too well in the low light of the cave.
The first one we have found this Far East.. one was found in Lewis county but I’ve yet to find another. Every-time I find a spotted now, my heart starts to race, because back when I found this guy I thought it was a spotted salamander.
