Growing in a fallow field. Pale, almost bluish tinged leaves, turning reddish at the edges. Very fine spines along the centre of the back of the leaf.
Very grateful for any help identifying these two plants. I think they are both willowherbs and they are both coming up everywhere in a fallow field and grow right next to one another. In the picture where they are together, the right hand one has more densely clustered leaves and its leaves have a soft, whitish down on both sides. The left hand, taller, narrower stem has completely smooth leaves.
