The smell was strong, a bit unpleasant.

Growing close to clusters of fly agarics.

Scaly to floccose ring-like zones that become ocher-brown in age were found in the lower part of the stipe. Found in Birch forest. ITS and Culture available. Picture of cultures are after one month of subbing. Could this also be Phlegmacium odiophus?
