There were a couple of these guys by the stream. In case anyone was wondering where I was, I was at an old swimming hole/stream that my dad went to when he was a kid. I wish I hadn't forgot to charge my camera battery. There were all sorts of cool stuff like stellar's jays, lorquin's admirals, California ringlets, alligator lizards, and I even saw a huge mountain garter snake and a juvenile Sierra Nevada garter snake. Sigh, next time.
