This looks more like an American Shad, what do you guys think?
Might end up reposting this with a proper identification. Not 100% sure if this is a shad/herring or a mooneye. Looks like it could be either so I need some more opinions. General features: large eyes/pupils, hard scaly body, teeth-like structures on tongue, noticeably forked tail, lower jaw extends slightly past upper jaw
