I have a M.S. degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology with an emphasis on California native flora. My graduate research looked at the morphological and molecular variation found in North American Cercis (Fabaceae) and the implications of this variation for taxonomy. Although I am not much of a birder, for work I have been fortunate to work on several raptor projects. At home, my recent fancy is propagating and tending to my modest collection of succulent plants.
