Hey guys, I'm Carissa. I'm not usually a huge outdoors person, but when I discovered iNaturalist from a project I was assigned in school, I started to really appreciate nature and the outdoors. Being involved with the community here and posting my observations has really helped me expand my comforts as well as my knowledge on the different plants/animals in Singapore. It is interesting how aware of them I have become and how unique each and every organism is. We often forget that in our urban, fast-paced lifestyle here. Taking photos and trying to identify them is hard, but I'm grateful that there is a community like iNaturalist that can help us wonderers out! My favorite places to observe organisms in Singapore are Serangoon Island, Kranji, and Hort Park. I hope you find as much interest in my observations as I had taking them.
